#SABVENTURES: Cebu City

November 28-30,2015

Hello Queen City of the South, Cebu City!

This SABVENTURES happened to be one of the most thrilling adventure I did so far. We did some outrageous activities such as: The whale shark encounter in Oslob and the Canyoneering and Falls Diving in Tumalon Falls which of course tested our bravery. Ha!

So we actually had everything planned out for this tour just like our other tours apparently flights of Philippine Airlines are fully booked so we were accommodated on the last flight. At least we got accommodated. We arrive in Cebu Mactan Internaional Airport around 11:30ish in the evening. Upon arrival we went to the taxi lane and rented a car to take us to Sascha's Place in Oslob which is 3hr drive away from the City proper.

Once we arrived in Sascha's and since it way too early for our check-in time. We decided to fix ourselves for the most awaited adventure. The owner of Sascha's helped us hired a HABAL-HABAL to take us to the place where we can experience our Whale Shark Interaction. Upon arrival we registered  then paid PHP500.00 and listened to the briefing needed before you actually board the boat.

THE SURREAL AND TERRIFYING MOMENT OF MY LIFE! HAHAHA! I THOUGHT THE WHARLE SHARK WILL EAT ME. BUT NAAAH! THEY DON'T EAT PORK! I GUESS!

xx

After the whale shark interaction we headed to Tumalog Falls riding a Habal Habal. Going there from Oslob is tiring if you actually ride a Habal habal and my back hurts a lot during the ride. We learned that you have other options like a bus or a tricycle which I must say much comfortable than Habal habal. However, this ride shows the massive beauty of nature.

Had two checks for my bucket list for this trip! I am so happy and tired as well. I also had some bruises too after jumping off the falls. Not that it's really scary, well definitely it is scary but once you jumped off you feel like you're flying. You just have to trust yourself and jump. (please make sure your legs are straight when you fall!)

After checking off my bucket list we went back to Sascha's and rest for our City Tour the next day and of course for our flight back home.

First on our list is to taste the yummiest chicharron and lechon of Cebu! We also bought some pasalubong for our family and friends too!

Some old native historical houses and places too. Feels like I'm in Intramuros! Ohh. I miss school.

We also visited some famous churches in the City. It's just sad that the Magellan's Cross is being renovated. You can still see some establishments that are still affected by the earth quake happened in Cebu.

We even went to the Taoist Temple and prayed there too. I must say these temple shows such an amazing view!

After all the adventure we experience yesterday and before heading back home. We decided to treat ourselves with some wine and more chatting up at the La Vie Parisienne while enjoying the view. Feels like we're in Paris!

(Here's to more travelling and adventure together)

(Mandatory Tourist-sy shot)

Ohh! well, two days is never enough to see the whole city! I just fell in love with Cebu City's beauty. And I want to come back for more!!!!!

Till next time Queen City of the South! xx Sab
