Mother's Day Special

To my Dearest Emilia,

Happy Mother's Day Mommy! 

Mommy, I couldn't thank you enough for all the sacrifices you had/have made for us. You've had to go through challenges some mothers never have to face like working full time while raising your three little angles alone. I know that being a single mom is tough and there were times that I made it more difficult for you. But thank you, thank you for not giving up on me when everyone did; thank you for being supportive; thank you for always wanting me to push harder, to try harder, to be better; thank you for being so patient when I'm not in the mood to talk; thank you for spoiling me with love and gifts; thank you for encouraging me; thank you for your unconditional love; thank you for just being there for me; thank you for the times that you scolded me and taught me lessons about life even though sometimes you get to be a bit nagging hahaha! Maybe that's how moms really work. Hahaha

I know that there were times that I may have hurt you unintentionally with my actions and words. I know that there were times that you wanted to talk and catch up but I choose to rest and be alone because of my work and other extra activities. I know that our opinions clash sometimes. 

But I promise you that I'll always be here for you no matter what. I'll always be the shoulder that you can cry on and your no.1 listener. I promise to have a mom and daughter day whenever you needed it. I promise to bring you to places you wanted to see and visit. I'd give everything I could to make your life easier. But even though I can't change things. I want you to know that you're a great mother. And I'm so lucky to have you. 

I may not say this always, but please remember that I love you very much Mom!
