#SABVENTURES : Boracay, Caticlan

February 18-20, 2015
(Sun x Sea x Sand = Perfect Way to start my summer getaways)
One of the best ways to start you Summer Escapade is to visit an island that showcase the finest and whitest sand, have some water  adventures and endless parties at night--- that and other reasons to visit the Island of Boracay in Aklan, Philippines.

We took a flight to Caticlan via PR2045 MNLMPH ETD: 0700H ETA: 0800H. The flight will be utilizing a Q400 aircraft and it's my first time to ride a bombardier-type of aircraft, so I'm a bit nervous about it but I am more anxious to see Boracay so my nervousness is forgotten. YIPPEE! I'm so excited!!!! And let me give you a little bit of trivia about myself: It is my first time in Boracay. Yes! I know! I know! But Hey! I know I'm not the only one! Hahahaha!

Anyway, upon arrival in Boracay we waited for our bags and asked to register in a counter there. The front desk officer asked us if we wanted to have a transfers from the Caticlan Airport to our Hotel in Boracay for just PHP450.00 -- inclusions: Transfers from Airport to Jettiport: PHP50, Terminal fee: PHP100, Environmental fee: PHP50, Boat ride to Boracay : PHP25, Port to Hotel: PHP125.

We were assisted by their personnel. Rode a van to Jettiport which is like 10 minutes or less from the airport then to the boat more likely 20minutes away from the Boracay Island. Upon arrival in Boracay Island we were assisted to ride a jeepney to our hotel, unfortunately the first hotel taht we chose increased their rate per night. So we have to look for another hotel to check-in. We have come to find The Maja's Place in Station 2 which cost us PHP1150: person/ 2nights/3days. Upon settling down our things we were able to meet Kuya Bernie who arranged our activities  in Boracay
