AUGUST 7 - 9, 2015
They said "Enjoy it while it last" and that's we are doing enjoying the perks that we have from our previous job! Thanks again Philippine Airlines for a smooth flight. Even if we've been experiencing some turbulence on board you make it a point to land safety and smoothly! HORAAY!
Delayed Flight is selfie time
I've been having some adventures and fun since the start of 2015 and next to the list is the City of the Living God / City in a forest: Puerto Princesa, Palawan. It is widely known to be the city where the Subterranean Underground River is located which is of course part of The Seven Wonders of the World. I can't wait to see it up close and person!
We actually scheduled a three day itinerary in this trip. We have it pre-arranged with the help of El Mundo Tours (a local travel agency in Puerto Prinsesa ). I greaty recommend to coordinate with a travel agency located in the city you are visiting because it is really CHEAPER and they knew what are the things and places you must visit.
SO HERE IS OUR THREE DAY ITINERARY:
FIRST ITINERARY
DAY 01: Arrival to Puerto Princesa
Underground River Tour
Travel to El Nido, Palawan
DAY 02: El Nido Tour Package B
Travel back to Puerto Princesa
DAY 03: Rest Day
Souvenir Shopping
SECOND ITINERARY
DAY 01: Arrival to Puerto Princesa
Underground River Tour
DAY 02: Honda Bay Tour
DAY 03: City Tour
Souvenir Shopping
Yep! Maybe you're wondering why we have two itineraries. It is because there is a typhoon that is passing through the Philippines when we are actually travelling to PPS and all the island tours in El Nido was cancelled for our own safety, so instead of cancelling the trip, we changed it to Honda Bay tour.
DAY 01: Underground River Tour and more
We were picked up by the El Mundo Tours and brought us to the Underground River which took us about an hour and thirty minutes drive plus a couple of minute waiting for our turn to go to the Underground River. After our tour we went straight to pick up some souvenirs since it was on our way to the hotel and of course we still haven't decided yet if we are going on a city tour yet!

A little sneak peak inside the cave.
*****Ka Lui's delicious food and artistic yet romantic ambience. Did I mention that you need to take off your shoes before getting in and you go in barefoot while inside! Maybe it's because of the wooded floor they have.
So we started our second day quite too early. We were picked up by a representative from El Mundo that will bring us to Honda Bay for some island hopping. After picking us up we waited for the other people that will be part of the group tour and we started our tour by passing by a snorkelling gear renting shop which would cost you PHP 150 for snorkelling gear and another PHP150 for the shoes. Basically if you won't go snorkelling you can not buy the gear but the shoes is highly recommended since there are some parts of the island that is a bit rocky that may hurt your feet. We also had our free buffet lunch and Visited three wonderful islands: Pandan Island, Sandbar Island and Cowrie Island. Even though it rained which made the boat ride a bit bumpy we really enjoyed it. We also tried the famous chicken skin go Ka Ina to and the Halo-halo and mass con yelo of Nokinocs.
We also did some snorkelling, Kayaking, and Fish feeding for FREE!

DELICIOUS DINNER YUM YUM!!
DAY 03: City Tour
After having dinner in Ka Lui's two nights ago we actually met Kuya Mar a tricycle driver who offered us a tour around the city with a very cheap price. So, me and Tiffany decided to take the tour and have some adventure too since seating on a car is too mainstream and we get to enjoy the Palawan air one last time. Our City tour consist of the following: Kuyba Almenca, Irawan Eco-Park, and Baker's Hill; we are supposed to visit the Butterfly garden and Crocodile Farm but since we are not so much of an animal lovers we opted to go to the first three that I stated.
Kuyba Almenca Meditation Garden
** this is one of the places that you must visit if you want to go caving and to have a little meditation because they have three caves : the bat cave; the cave that shows Jesus face on the cave; the cave with water inside. You also get the chance to see their chapel and fish pond which is very beautiful.
CAVE-WOMEN! RAWR!
Irawan Eco-park
*** craving for some adventures? Well, you can go and experience an incredible adventure in Irawan Eco-Park. They are offering different activities that may bring adrenaline rush and they ride going the activity area is really thrilling. The people are really friendly and very accommodating though the activities are quite pricey.
The Baker's Hill
*** You love baking? Cupcakes? Pizzas? Pastries? Name it and it's in Baker's Hill combined with its finest art works and amazing view plus its free entrance! You feel like you're in Singapore with this kind of decorations and designs!
So that's the end of our PALAWAN ADVENTURE!!! We really had so much fun!!! Till next time!
WE ARE TRULLY A ....
XOXO, SABBY
